What is a carnal christian?

A carnal Christian is someone who claims to be a believer in Jesus Christ but their actions and lifestyle do not align with biblical teachings. They may live a life characterized by worldly desires, selfishness, and disobedience to God's commands.

Carnal Christians often struggle with sin and have a lack of spiritual maturity. They may attend church regularly, participate in religious activities, and even profess a belief in Christ, but their hearts are far from God.

The Apostle Paul addressed the issue of carnal Christians in his letters to the Corinthians, warning them against living in the flesh rather than in the spirit. He urged them to grow in their faith and strive for holiness.

It is important for those who claim to be Christians to examine their hearts and continually seek to align their lives with God's word. By surrendering to the Holy Spirit and following God's commands, believers can overcome the carnal desires of the flesh and live a life that honors and glorifies Him.
